Zip Line.................................

After lunch Norma, Carol and I went to the square in Antigua and found the tour bus that takes you to the Zip Line. We drove to 7,800 feet as the guides told us what to expect. As we rode, we could look below and see the coffee growing and the housing provided for the workers that come to pick it. It was very interesting.

The guides stopped and wanted to take our photo.

OK, we are at the top and there is NO turning back........................Norma getting her helmet fitted.

Carol getting her harness secured.

I was not nervous at all. These guys were very safety conscious and make three runs a day.

OK, we are ready to roll...........drop............Zip.............or whatever!!!

There were 7 runs................Norma coming in for the landing.

Carol taking off..................................

It was a great adventure!!

When we finished, we had the opportunity to knock more things off of Carol's list. We went to the market, bought plastic shopping bags, went to buy cookies, found postcards..........................when we were almost finished, we ran into Julie and Jennie. They had finished their haircut and pedicure.................so now Carol adds to that her list..........................whew.......................off we go to find the tienda and hope to finish in time for dinner.................photos to follow!

Dear Sheri, We did have such fun!! I checked your blog right after we got home but didn't see anything. One week later a group from Rancho Cordova Drove (14 hrs) to an orphanage in Mexico. There were 18 of us and this time hubby went too since he doesn't fly. I got to practice my spanish some more but more like playing with kids. I worked in the kitchen as we had to prepare all our food. Some did building projects ie. built a bathroom and 3 roofing projects. We sandwiched in birthdays in Sacto. Tuesday me, two daughters, and 5 grandkids are flying to New Jersey for our niece's wedding. Antonio and Jenna will be ring bearer and flower girl. Our girls have their lists for the Big Apple! Hubby takes the Greyhound Monday to arrive on Thursday. He really is stubborn about flying! Did another birthday today, Julie is 1 and winter baseball for Jacob 10. Gotta Pack. Babysitting Antonio almost 4 and sister 10 months tomorrow. Antonio has his birthday on the wedding day. Will take candles to put in his piece of wedding cake! Thank you so much for all you do! Love, Carol
