Tuesday in Clinica Ezell

This morning everyone had breakfast and then the surgeries began. Thirteen surgeries were done today and all went well.

Marta, as always, places the patent's IV before surgery.

The first patient of the day was Carlos. Here he is with his mother before returning to his bed.

Sharon is busy painting the wall in the patients ward. This will be a painting of the garden of Eden. She has several photos that she is piecing together in her mind and then painting it on the wall. True talent!!

This is Janelle (AR), Ruby (MS) and Amy (AZ). Janelle was here last year as a nursing student and since then has graduated. For the other two, this is their first time here.

Does Emerson look like he just had surgery?? We love content patients.

Jose will have surgery tomorrow. When someone asked him if he had a girlfriend he denied it. Later changed his response, admitting that he did have one.

Jennifer from TX is reading a story to Wendy, who will have surgery tomorrow.

Harson, basically jumped into my arms from the bed as I stopped to talk to him. Have I told you how hot and humid it is here??

We will end our day with a devotional and praing for each patient by name.

As Marie usually says, "Tommorrow will be exacly the same but a little different."
