Clinic in Xepol

Today, Gaspar and I went to Xepol for clinic. It was a difficult drive due to the fog. The fog was really bad but you have to remember, there are many people walking on the highway, buses and trucks without lights and also bicyclists.

We had a small clinic of only one patient but we were able to do two house calls.

After we returned to Chichi, Gaspar and I went to visit a patient in Buen Samaritano Hospital. She is a young woman that needed surgery. The sad part is that she does not have a lot of family. She has not married and both of her parents have died. Her uncle was there visiting so I am glad that she has some support.

After we were finished at the hospital, I went to part of the funeral of Martina's uncle. This also is a sad situation. He was in his 30's but never developed well physically or mentally. Martina and her mom have always taken care of him.

Kemmel was also at the funeral. We walked up to the cemetery and to the grave site. They slowly lowered the casket into the grave and also a bag of his toys.

Tomorrow, we will have clinic in Chichi. Kemmel will go get Katy and she will be with us for a week. She was with us last year at this time and I look forward to her stay.
