Pepperdine in Xepol

As usual, everyone had breakfast and waited to load up the trucks. This energetic group was waiting to see what would take place through the day..........Lisa, Josefina, Julie, Marcos and Danny.

We had a small clinic of eight patients. As we we were driving to clinic, the road had many people exiting the community. When we arrived, you could hear the music. Tomas, the man that helps us with the clinic, told us there was a reunion of the students in a school near-by.

This little boy had huge tonsils! He was very patient as Brian examined him. He was more excited about the photo until the camera was pulled out of the bag. He will return next clinic for another exam and for his photo.

This baby was adorable. He also was very content and came to you as you held your your arms for him!
When we were sure there were no more patients to be seen, we loaded the truck and hiked back up the hill. The children here are always very helpful with helping us carry our bags.

We had food for lunch but did not have enough to share with everyone. So, we drove down the road, stopped at a place with a good view, dropped the tail gate and enjoyed lunch. We had bean sandwiches with Dorito chips placed inside the sandwich. We learned yesterday that it was a great sandwich. Brian was adventurous and had a bean and strawberry jam sandwich........I am not sure he would do that again :)

It was a wonderful day................patients that had needs and safe travels.

Again........tomorrow is another day with many more adventures!
