Sunday in Montellano

This morning, we all went across the street for worship.  I stopped to get the babies and parents, so they would join us.  The building was filled..........what a wonderful experience we had.  Carlos had a wonderful message.  If Christ is in our life, and we are living as we should, what an impact He has!  Others have to see that we are different.  It is impossible for others to miss it.

Carlos gave a great example of when Mary and Elizabeth were pregnant.  When Mary visited Elizabeth, we are told that the baby of Elizabeth jumped!  The baby who jumped, would later be named, John the Baptist.  He jumped because he knew that he was in the Lord's presence.  If we are living the life that we should, people will sense the difference and see Christ in our lives.

I found out this morning, that today is Amarilis' birthday!  She is two years old!! What an exciting time for her and her mom!  Nine months ago, she had heart surgery and is doing very well.

A few of us went to Chicacao to get a cake and celebrate together.

Amarilis and her mom.

On the sofa is Hector Fredy and his mom, Edison and his mom, and Marcos with his mom.

Amarilis with her first bite of cake............after she had stuck her fist in it!!

Anderson Joel, his mom and Ann.  Ann, comes down to Guatemala every February and it is good to see her and Quinton!

This is Hector Fredy and his mom.

After we enjoyed the cake and our time together, it was time to get to work.  Dwayne, Kary and Tamar discussing antibiotics for a baby.

Dwayne led us this morning in some English songs.  Katy, is a neonatologist from St. Louis.  Tamar is a CNRA that works in the operating room.

It was a good day.  A few of the surgeries were done today and everyone did well.  We always give the glory to God for this and we are thankful for his mercy on us.
