Pepperdine meets Xepol

Yesterday afternoon, Lisa and I went to a Bible study that some of the ladies in the area have organized. I do not know many of them, only a few. The study is based on a book called Crazy Love and the first two chapters have been interesting.

Today we watched a video and then began the discussion. The man in the video had some interesting questions to stimulate thought. Sometimes thinking about your death or the return of Christ can cause uncomfortable moments, yet if you are ready for that time it can be exciting.

Revelation 20:22----He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming soon." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

Will we be ready? Are we comfortable to ask Jesus to return? Can we imagine the sky opening, the sound of the trumpet and meeting Christ?

Today, Pepperdine met Xepol. It was a small clinic with only 10 patients. The students took turns sitting with Dr. Brian and examining patients.

The excitement of the day was when the students visited the clinic after their classes had finished. There were over 30 students coloring and hearing about the creation.

They sang and learned motions to songs.

There were a lot of smiles today.

Matthew 19:14----Jesus said unto them, "Let the little children come unto me and do not hinder them for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

We traveled back to the hotel without any problems. Later in the evening we had our dinner and a devotional.

Tomorrow will be two more clinics and many adventures to share.
