Clinic in Xepol

This morning we all drove to Chuchuca and the roads were good. I caught a ride to Santa Cruz with Kemmel and Lisa and we met Jasmin, Marcos, Manuel, Maury, Martina and Juan. We did not have any problems with the travel and all was well :)

We did not have many patients when we arrived so the guys mounted the speaker to the truck and announced through the community. Within 30 minutes the patients started arriving.

I want to introduce you to Catarina Garcia. She is the first young lady in the Church of Christ to be attending middle school and only the second in her community, Xejox. She told me that she really enjoys her classes. The ABC Program is a great opportunity for the children.

Look at those pretty teeth!

Usually Guatemalans are not anxious to smile for the camera but today they were ready!!

This little girl was smiling but she had no teeth to show me :(

This was one of our dissatisfied customers.

We had a total of 22 medical patients and 19 dental patients.
The final dental patient of the day was our Juan. Marcos pulled his wisdom tooth.
On the way home we stopped to get cokes and ice cream. It was our last clinic with Jasmin. She will go to the coast and work with Dr. Walter and David for a week and then return to The States.
