This is Marvin and he arrived a little later than we did. We knew that Marvin was too small for surgery but his parents wanted to come for a consult. We did not realize that Marvin had lost 2.5 pounds since his last consult in Clinica Caris.
We wanted Marvin's mom to stay until Monday and get some lab work done so we might have a better idea on what is wrong with Marvin but she wanted to go home. Rosario and I talked to her again later in the evening but she would not change her mind.
Please pray for Marvin that he will gain some weight, his mother will have the lab work done and visit Lisa in the clinic on Thursday.
Sometimes all you can do is pray and encourage others. That is all you do and sometimes it is hard because you are not sure of the decisions they will make.
