Tomorrow morning I will be traveling to the coast to begin the week of surgeries. The group from The States will arrive tomorrow afternoon so please pray for their safe arrival.
Please also pray for the physicians, operating staff, nurses, patients, families during this week. I will keep the blog going as time allows and keep you to date on the activities.
This is a wonderful opportunity that we have to help others physically but more important spiritually.
I John 3:11-16-19-----This is how we know what love it: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need and has not pity for him how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. This then is how we know that we belong to the truth and how we see our hearts at rest in his presence.
While many surgeries will be done this week, we do not want to forget where our true power comes from. Many patients will be excited this week but we want to share the true joy that we have in Christ. We will pray with patients before they enter the operating room and pray for them each night by name.
Will you also pray for them this week?
