What is Guatemala coming to??

This morning, Sandra and I headed for the truck and drove to Clinica Caris.  When we arrived patients were waiting and that is always a good site.  We swept the clinic, prepared for the day, prayed with everyone and then began clinic.

We had 19 patients for medical and a few for dental cleaning.  There was a wide variety of patients.

I forgot to tell you about something that happened yesterday, as we drove past this point in the road.

I took a mini-van to Quiche yesterday morning.  As we passed this point, we saw a man with a child over his shoulder and he was standing about 5 feet from this drop off. He was pretending he was going to drop the child off the cliff. It gave me flashbacks of a few years ago, of a pop-star holding his child out a window.  Remember the chaos that was stirred over that incident?  The news reporters went on a frenzy!

What made this incident even worse, was there was a lady was across the street, taking a picture of the man! They thought it was all fun and games..........my thought was,  "What is Guatemala coming to??"
