Clinic in Lemoa

Today we had a good clinic in Lemoa. Marcos, Martina, Maury, Gaspar, Juan and I met to begin our morning. We have a devotional and prayer time together. This morning Marcos talked about our freedom in Christ.

It is a very important concept to understand. Without our freedom in Christ, we are slaves to the world and slaves to sin.

Galatians 5:1

It is for freedom that Christ set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

When Christ died for us, we were then placed under the new law.......but to live for Christ is a choice that each of us needs to make.........this is the point that Marco emphasised today. It is a conscious decision to follow Christ and to have our life different.

John 8:31-32

To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

We then went out and welcomed the patients.........Gaspar prayed and then we began clinic.

This is Martina's sister-in-law. She and her baby came to the clinic today.

Tomorrow we have clinic in Xejox..............it is close to 2 hours in the truck. It will be a longer day but I trust it will be an adventure!!
