Clinic in Chuchipaca

First, I want to wish my parents an Happy Anniversary! I am very thankful for my Christian parents and influence they have been for Mike and I..........HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

Lisa, Gaspar, Juan and I had clinic in Choacaman IV. We had a clinic of 15 patients and it was a good day. Juan from the congregation there helped translate K'iche'. Lisa saw a wide range of patients but there is one that I wish would return. Maybe she will be there the next time.

Juan drove us back to the highway. We had given him 100 points for his performance until he stalled the truck.............that reduced him to 99 points. He has some tough critics :)

When we returned, I went to Santa Cruz for a few hours. I went to one of my favorite restaurants for a salad and took some medical Spanish to study. I must have looked bored or frustrated since the guy in the restaurant brought me a Prensa Libre to read!

One of the serious issues here in Guatemala is the lack of rain. This is suppose to be the rainy season but it is still very dry. Venezuela is bringing in 4,000,000 tons of beans, corn, rice and milk to help the country. We will continue to pray for more rain so the second planting will grow better.

Tomorrow is a day of rest................I will worship in Santa Cruz in the afternoon.
