Today, Manuel, Teresa, Kristi and I headed to Chuguexa for clinic. It was a smaller clinic than usual but there are some days like that. There was a soccer game going on down the hill and it sounded like that was atteneded by most of the community.
We had eleven patients and seven of them were diabetics.
One gentleman that touched us was Diego. He is 48 years old and is a new diabetic. When I asked him if he attended a church he told us no but that he has been a member of A.A. and has not drank in 20 years! What an accomplishment for him and we hope that he has continued success with this. We hope to see him in 2 weeks when we return to Chuguexa.
It was a good day and we are always thankful for safe travles.
Tomorrow, we will have clinic in Chichi and should have many patients.
