ABC Clinic in Paxot II

Two vehicles of us went to Paxot II today to do an ABC Clinic.  It is always good to see how the ABC Children are doing and to pray with them and the parents.

There was a lot of activity going on today.  As Kemmel said, "They are bringing down the house!"  Several truck loads of rocks and gravel were brought in during the day to prepare for a new building.

This is the old building that will be torn down.  When I asked different people how old the building was, I got several different answers.  They ranged between 15 and 30 years old.  Nice age range.

It has become very important to find a good way to measure the children so we can track their growth.  Everyone pitched in to be sure that the measurement was accurate.

I have this one picture from today.  It is a patient with ring worm. I had another photo but it turned out blurry but you can at least see how this lady has been affected by it.  As many patients, she did not come to clinic with this problem but with something else that bothered her. I am just glad that I noticed it before she left.

This is one of the ABC girls.  She and some of her friends were sewing their aprons as they waited for their consults.

As Lisa and I saw the medical patients, Cesar, Maria and Maury worked with the children on their dental hygiene.  They continue to use a dye that helps the children learn the areas that they are not brushing very well.  It is a great tool to use.

Lisa has a great story about one of her patients on her blog.  Please check it out at www.KemmelandLisa.blogspot.com    It is a reminder that we all need to be more thankful.
