Pepperdine meets Panajxit

We had our usual breakfast at 0700 and then went to different clinics. Lisa and her group went to Clinica Carris and we went to Panajxit. It is not a far drive but it is also a pretty drive.

When we arrived, the door was not opened nor was there anyone waiting for us. The gentleman that helps with this clinic does not have electricity in his home so at times his phone battery dies and he is not able to take his calls. We sat outside and patiently waited for someone.

Julie begins to perform some acrobatics in hopes of bringing us some patients????

There was a field of sheep near the clinic. This little sheep did not know what was in store for him and his friends.

The lambs were in for some cuddling and did not seem to mind.

This one was telling all of his friends to come over!

When we got back to the clinic, the hand sanitizer was passed around a few times!

The students took a ball over to a field near the school. When the classes were on break, they started a game. I think the kids changed teams as they wanted to. The rule seemed to be that if you were near the ball, kick it in any direction you wanted to.

These young ladies were the smartest. They were resting during their break.

When the game got to close to this chained-up cow, you should have seen the action!!

Nadia is saying, "Hey, that was my ball!"

So Nadia and Julie went over to join the girls game.

Julie making it down the field!

Julie and Nadia still out there showing the girls how this game is played.

They climbed the tree for a group photo!

Even though it was a small clinic with 8 patients, it was a good day. We went back to Chichi so everyone could play some more ball. I took advantage of the time and came home to get some work done.

We met back at the hotel for the 7 pm dinner and devotional. We are thankful as always for a safe day of travel and clinics. We pray that something was said or done that helped a patient want to better their relationship with God.
