I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!!......
Even though we see many, many turkeys each day in the street, I do not think we will be eating any today. If I am wrong, I will let you know.
Let us continue to be more thankful each day for each blessing! You know them all.......family, friends, our health, our financial status, living in a free country..........and the list goes on. I know I am thankful for the blessings I have.
Sherri: Happy Thanksgiving! I love your blog! I am amazed at all that you all are still doing in Guatemala! You all are true servents and serve as a reminder/ call to action. I am having some medical issues myself. I know that if you add me to your prayer request the Lord will be litsening! Have a wonderful Sunday! Lots of love from Atlanta! Anita Garland
I am Sheri Kretzschmar and I am serving in Guatemala with Health Talents International. I am a nurse from Winston-Salem, NC and currently live in Chichicastenango. We are working with the local Churches of Christ as we conduct mobile medical clinics in the surrounding communities. It is our prayer that we will share the love of God and demonstrate the compassion of Jesus.
Philippians 4:6 states, "Do not be anxious about anything but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God".
"And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ" (Ephesians 5:20).
Please remember Lisa and Kemmel as they soon will be visiting family in The States and Chile.
Please pray for Martina and their new baby, Carolina.
Please pray for Marlene and Jose that live in Rio Bravo.
Please pray for Aura. She will soon finish her dental program and join us in the ministry.
That our teams will be kept safe in the roads as we travel daily.
Prayers of Thanksgiving
Prayers for thanksgiving as my parents health continues to improve.
Prayers of thanks to thos who continue to support children in the ABC program. Without this help, children might not have the opportunity to study in school and have medical/ dental care.
The babies who had plastic surgery are doing well. They will return on March 5th for a follow-up visit.
The Brewer Rd. Iglesia de Cristo in Winston-Salem, NC is continuing to grow. Please see their newsletter at http://newsletter-iglesia.blogspot.com
The South Fork Church of Christ, The College Church of Christ, Hennessey Church of Christ and the Morganton Church of Christ continue to help me financially.
Please email Jane at jbartel52@yahoo.com if you are interested in helping her with her mission of "Evelyn's Baskets of Love and Life" or helping with a surgery. Thank you.
