Boring day for Chepe but a busy day for us

We have clinic in Choacaman IV twice a month and it seems the children are never in school. For the last 3 clinics we have had, school have been cancelled......something about the teacher needing the day off. When the older children have their activities, Chepe (below) is always board. He is a real good child but he gets bored and likes a lot of attention.

He does get a lot of attention from Juan and Gaspar but he just has a lot of energy........as boys his age do.
We had 14 patients today which is a good clinic for Choacaman. We did not see anything unusual so it was a calm day. We had a good lunch of soup and tortillas. We then hiked down the hill, through the corn field, across the river and then through another field. The land owners are still making us park farther away but it is ok. Maybe someday they will change their mind again but I am not sure about that.

We have a team arriving tomorrow, led by Rick and Julie. Marie was here last month with another group. Please pray for their safe arrival and they patients have successful surgeries next week. Gaspar, Juan and I will be headed to Clinica Ezell on Sunday morning to help for a few day.
